Definition
The below general terms and conditions define the relationship between you and the Hotel Sonne Zermatt AG at a reservation made by internet, fax or letter.
Responsability
The hotel room has to be used carefully by the host. In case of damage, the client will be totally responsible. The hotel assumes no liability for theft or bad services produced by any other company in connection with the Hotel Sonne. The hotel reserves the right to terminate the contract of sale under certain conditions before or during the stay
Cancellation fees
Please notify us as soon as possible for any changes in your reservation. In the case of a cancellation, the following cancellation charges usually apply:
Cancellation conditions
- to 30 days before arrival: free
- 29 - 14days before arrival: 50% of the booking
- 13 - 0 days before arrival: 100% of booked stay
- early departure during the stay: 100% of booked stay
Christmas (20.december to 6.January)
- to 45 days before arrival: free
- 44 - 24 days before arrival: 50% of the booking
- 23 - 0 days before arrival: 100% of booked stay
- early departure during the stay: 100% of booked stay
We recommend that you take out a cancellation insurance!
We ask you to not travel if you have experienced symptoms of illness in the last few days that indicate respiratory disease. Should this be the case, please contact us.
Taxes
The value added tax (VAT) is included in the price, which is not the case of the touristic tax.
Terms of payment
We reserve the right to require in advance the full or part payment of the reservation. For bookings made via online portals, the specific conditions of cancellation apply to each portal. Credit cards are verified electronically by us. If a credit card number is not valid, we consider the reservation as non-guaranteed.
Your credit card is equivalent to your signature. As soon as we have your credit card number and its expiry date, we reserve us the right to charge the total deposit amount form it on the date of the deposit due. The booking is definitive after that.
Lost property
The objects found in the hotel are sent back only on request. The costs are charged to the recipient.
Massages / Service / Servie
The wellness masseur / business owner is exempt from any liability.
The same applies to damages arising because a reason for exclusion was not known to the customer and was not recognisable to the wellness masseur/business owner. Exclusion of liability for third-party services.
The offer includes treatments that are solely for the purpose of well-being.
These do not constitute a medical service and are therefore not covered by health insurance.
No diagnoses are made and no symptoms are treated.
If you suffer from health problems that require treatment, please consult your doctor beforehand.
Wellness massages are only performed on healthy clients.
No massage for:
Severe varicose veins, all acute inflammations, skin diseases, serious organic diseases, tumours or during radiation therapy, open wounds and burns, fractures, herniated discs (acute), serious vascular diseases, altered blood coagulation => haemophiliacs or after taking anticoagulant medication => Marcumar®, ASS®, etc., Infectious diseases => also flu, infections with fever, heart, circulation: No massage for severe heart and circulatory diseases, because the massage is too much of a strain or other pre-existing conditions, mild varicose veins or spider veins, benign tumours (lipomas, fibromas)
Essential oils
In the case of massages with essential oils, the customer is obliged in their own interest to declare any existing allergies.
Juridiction
Swiss law is applicable to any dispute between you and the Hotel Sonne Zermatt AG. The jurisdiction is in Zermatt. The German terms of use are valid in case of any conflict.
